Women during the Twentieth Century crafted by hand lovely
linens for their home and family. They would embroider,
crochet, quilt or sew textiles for the family while they relaxed in
the evening listening to music from a radio or watching
television.
These evening "needle artists" created lovely linens so beautiful
or elegant that they often went unused. They were "saved" and
stored in closets, curios, dressers or cedar chests. They were
preserved for us to find and appreciate many decades later.
It is always fun for us to find this vintage "Treasure" and it is a
great pleasure for us to share them with other women who also
appreciate the artistry, glamour and decorative style of women
who lived before them.
